Large-scale Russian Attacks Eliminate Power Throughout Ukraine's Capital

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have caused electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered disruption to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while the country's government has requested "real steps" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the United States, the EU and the G7 - in delivering air defence systems and applying penalties," he wrote in a public message.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured intense attacks throughout the evening. A minor was killed and three other people were wounded.

The assaults follow periods of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of invading troops.

All of Ukraine is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to identify.

National leaders told journalists that Russia was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with attacks already impacting energy systems.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were anticipating additional strikes.
